Chat with a Committee member

If you'd like help exploring how use your career to improve the world, and what you can be doing now to prepare, one of the ways we've found we can help the most is through one-on-one chats. This is a great way to get a detailed and tailored picture of the EA Oxford community and the range of ideas in EA.

Who is this for?

Everyone! We think having a chat could be useful no matter how much or little you’re already engaged with EA ideas and EA Oxford. Here’s a few examples of things people have booked in to chat with us about in the past:

  • What EA Oxford events are right for me?

  • How can I have a positive impact with my DPhil thesis?

  • I’m feeling generally confused about EA ideas. What do I do?

Seminar Programme

The best way for newcomers to get involved with EA Oxford is to take part in our Introductory Seminar Programme. The programme runs over eight weeks, and involves discussion groups about selected topics, socials, and personalised mentoring to help you apply these principles to your life and career.

Who is this for?

Anyone who is new to EA, and willing to commit a couple of hours a week to learning the key ideas of the movement.
